Meeting was called to order at 4pm by John Heffernan. Present: Maureen Banner, John Heffernan, Roz Halberstadter, Wenduy Jensen, Kathryn Roberts and Lynne Leavitt
Discussion concerned balances in grant money. Due to the cycle of grants and later payment requests from grantees, it is sometimes difficult to reconcile the balances. Also, the state has listed more than we received, so this must be corrected.
Our Studio Tour was a big success. Wendy and Maureen reported about 100 visitors to their studios. Bidwell House also had many visitors that day.
Sales were brisk, and all were satisfied with results. The email list gathered at the store will be used as a mailing list to notify interested people of future events.
Wendy, who was the Chair for the event thanked the following people:
Maureen: publicity
Kit: sandwich board and music liason
Lynne, Susan and Roz: store duty to welcome all, and distribute maps
Kathryn and Roz: set up store exhibit for artists advertizing their goods
Kathryn: Bidwell House
Question arose about future programs to be presented. There are several already planned, but dates not yet set. We would like the Historical Society to present a program at the Bidwell House. Lynne will work on this with Barbara Swann.
Meeting adjourned at 4:50pm
Next meeting will be earlier than scheduled: January 6th, so the grant cycle vote will be done on time.
Respectfully submitted,
Lynne Leavitt, Secry.
